Pearl, a Geology and Water Science B.S. graduate from Northland College, is passionate about island ecosystems. She has led common loon monitoring while studying other Northwoods biota at Isle Royale National Park. Pearl has assisted other Kauaʻi conservation organizations to better the native songbird populations on the Alakaʻi plateau and is excited to aid in the protection of seabirds.
