MARY IPSON – SEABIRD TECHNICIAN

Mary graduated with a B.S. in Biology with a focus on wildlife conservation in 2024 and is passionate about learning and delving into wildlife and plant conservation around the world! As an undergraduate, she helped with the conservation and research of pinyon jays in southwest Utah, as well as research in growing culinary mushrooms and mycoremediation. After graduating, she spent a season researching and conserving alpine plants in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado. She’s excited to continue her learning and research with seabirds in Kauai! In her free time she loves to bike, backpack, climb, kayak, create art and music, and explore the outdoors!
