JACOB LIGORRIA – CREW LEADER - IMMP
Jacob attended Pomona College where he studied Common Tern foraging in the Gulf of Maine while earning his bachelor’s degree in biology. After graduating, he studied Little Auks at the Polish Polar Station on Svalbard as the first Fulbright-National Geographic Awardee to Poland. Jacob loves studying seabirds because they can tell us so much about the entire marine ecosystem and is excited to contribute to their conservation efforts in Hawaiʻi through his work on the ARC IMMP team. On Kauaʻi, he skates for the Garden Island Renegade Rollerz roller derby team and volunteers with Mālama i nā Honu.
