DANNY LEE – SEABIRD & WATERBIRD TECHNICIAN

Danny graduated with a B.A. in biology with a concentration in ecology, evolution, and marine biology from Bowdoin College and is passionate about seabird ecology and conservation. During his undergraduate, Danny worked with Leach’s Storm Petrel colonies on Bowdoin’s Scientific Station on Kent Island and became inspired to pursue marine ornithology. After graduation, Danny worked on Southeast Farallon Island to survey and study Pacific birds, including auks, cormorants, gulls, and the Ashy Storm Petrel. He hopes to continue working in this field and specialize in studying his favorite bird group—the tubenoses! Danny is extremely excited and grateful to join the IMMP crew to help protect Kauai’s seabirds and waterbirds!
