Curtis has always been an avid naturalist and birder since he was a young boy watching nature documentaries. He graduated with a B.S. in Biology from Eastern Washington University. After graduating, he became obsessed with seabirds during a field season Midway Atoll, and has since worked in remote Idaho, and two seasons working with seabirds in Maine. Curtis is extremely excited to be returning to Hawaii and help with the conservation of all the rare seabirds in Kaua'i! In his free time, he enjoys going out birding and loves searching for rare and interesting fish and plants.
