CHLOE RABINOWITZ – SEABIRD TECHNICIAN
Chloe is passionate about detangling the web of how species respond to changing environments. She earned a B.S. from the University of Washington in Environmental Science & Resource Management, with a minor in Spanish. Since graduating in 2023, she has been working in various conservation roles from analyzing microscopic zooplankton to mapping invasive species across the state of California. Every fall or spring, Chloe migrates down to Patagonia to study a population of Magellanic penguins on the coast of Argentina. Her passion for marine ornithology has stemmed from her time spent amongst the penguins, petrels, skuas, and cormorants down south. She is excited to learn more about the culture, history, and ecology of Kaua’i – and find the best farmer’s markets on island – while working as a colony technician with ARC. And maybe even pick up surfing!
