CARTER STROPE – SEABIRD TECHNICIAN

Carter grew up in the Rockies and was fascinated by nature from a young age. This led him to earn a B.S. in Biology from Boise State University. Throughout the duration of his undergraduate studies and beyond he has worked as a field ornithologist across the Western US. Carter spent several seasons monitoring breeding birds in the Rockies and Great Plains for projects operated by Bird Conservancy of the Rockies and the World Wildlife Fund. He has also worked as a songbird bander and hawk migration counter for Intermountain Bird Observatory in Idaho. Carter is deeply passionate about conservation and public education and is excited to apply his skills to endangered seabirds and take on new challenges with ARC.
